Hermitage

This is a building from the 17^th century located on the summit of a mountain with magnificent panoramic views to the orange groves and the Xúquer River.

There is little documentation about this religious construction. However, taking into account the remnants of the frescoes, it seems to have a Marian evocation.

During the 19^th and 20^th centuries, it was used as a hospital and then it was inhabited by humble families.

Nowadays, a process of reconstruction is being carried out since 1995 thanks to the association ‘’Amics de l’Ermita’’ (Friends of the Hermitage).
